Brianna Sugalski is a Filipino American Romantic Dark Fantasy author with a soft spot for spite-driven, pastry-loving FMCs, regrettably obsessive and bloodthirsty love interests, and well-fought-for Happily Ever After Alls.

Brianna is also a developmental editor specializing in #OwnVoices Fiction and Sci-fi/ Fantasy, with a special interest in the Folkloric, Adventure, and Sword & Sorcery Fantasy sub genres (books closed until Jan 2026). In all facets of craft, she prefers exploring the ominous—disenchanting, if you will—undertones of history, romance, and the arcane.

She is a member of the Medieval Academy of America.

Disenchanted (Young Adult Edition) was a Readers’ Favorite 2020 Finalist.

The Disenchanted (Ruinous Reign: Book One) audiobook, narrated in Duet by Krys Janae and Zachary Johnson, produced by Daniele Lanzarotta of Elysian Nightfall Studios, is a 2024 SOVAS nominee for Best Sound Engineering, and a Sultry Listeners’ Awards 2024 nominee in the Fantasy Romance category.
